Illeana Gomez, LCSW, Ph.D.
Vice President of Senior and Community Services

Illeana joined Casa Central in 1992 and served as the Director of Foster Care until 2004. In 2004, she was promoted to Deputy Director of Senior and Community Services and today she continues to serve as the agency’s Vice President of Senior and Community Services. Illeana is a licensed clinical social worker and has extensive experience in the areas of clinical assessment and intervention, child welfare, aging, trauma and loss. Before obtaining her Ph.D. in social work from Loyola University in Chicago, she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she obtained her BSW and MSW degrees.

In her role as Vice President of Senior and Community Services, Illeana is responsible for administrative oversight of the Adult Wellness Center, Home Care Services, La Posada Interim Housing Program and Intact Family Services.

Illeana also serves as the agency’s Council on Accreditation Coordinator and Executive Director of Child Welfare on behalf of the agency’s Intact Family Services.

"It has been a great joy and privilege to be a part of Casa Central and its mission has consistently aligned with my social work values and ethics,” Illeana says about her time working at Casa Central.

In her free time, Illeana is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She and her husband have two children, Melissa and Amanda, and a cat named Luna.
