Illeana Gomez, LCSW, Ph.D.
Deputy Director of Senior and Community Services
Illeana was promoted to Deputy Director of Senior and Community Services after 15 years at Casa Central, primarily as the Director of the Foster Care program. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and an MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Ph.D. in Social Work from Loyola University. In her role as Deputy Director, Illeana supervises Casa Central’s family-centered programming, including the Adult Wellness Center, Home Care Services, La Posada, the Intact Family Program, and the Violence Prevention and Intervention Program.
Illeana enjoys exploring the lakefront, especially the Museum Campus and Navy Pier. She and her husband have two children, Melissa and Amanda, and a cat named Luna. Illeana loves working at Casa Central because of the strong alignment between the agency’s mission and her social work values and ethics.
