Adolescent Parenting Program (APP)
The Adolescent Parenting Program (APP) program serves teen parents through age 19 and their children ages 0-3. Casa Central works with this critical group in order to help teen parents keep with the Illinois Early Learning Standards for children ages 0-3.
APP home educators visit the teens at home on a weekly basis to strengthen their understanding of child development and to develop parenting skills. In addition to home visits, there are weekly group sessions designed to connect teen parents with each other as they learn about specific issues in child development, how to manage their relationships, and develop future plans for themselves and their child.
