Casa Central, as an accredited, licensed child welfare agency that provides foster care services to children and their families in the Chicagoland area. Our Foster Care Program provides every individual with well-trained professionals to provide substitute 9 family care services for children of all ages who have either been abused or neglected in their own homes.

Foster children need love and care while separated from their families. We provide these children with an opportunity for healthy physical, social and emotional growth.

The natural parents also receive help as they work toward reunification with their children. The Natural and foster families receive counseling and other supportive services in order to ensure that they are able to meet the emotional & developmental needs of the children.

Also, our Teen Parenting Service Network (TPSN) provides pregnant or parenting foster children with comprehensive care and services, while encouraging them to nurture and care for their babies, in an effort to break the cycle of repeat pregnancies and child neglect among this high risk population.

Various supportive services include an educational newsletter called "Mi Casa Su Casa" (My Home Your Home, published four times a year and designed specifically to inform and provide support to our foster parents. Ongoing training to help foster parents manage the special or individual needs of the foster children includes, but is not limited to:

• Educational Training
