Home Care Services Program

The Home Care Services program employs an estimated 250 caretakers who visit homebound seniors throughout Chicago and some of its near suburbs. Their responsibilities include helping the seniors with a variety of crucial tasks, such as personal care, shopping, food preparation and cleaning.

This invaluable program enables seniors, who might otherwise be confined to a nursing home, to maintain a relatively independent lifestyle for a much longer period than might be possible without such care. An added benefit is the provision of additional employment opportunities within the community.
