Intact Families
Working with families to ensure the health and growth of our children's future
The Intact Family Services program lasts approximately 12 to 15 months. This home-based, family centered program allows children to remain safely at home, rather than to be placed in substitute care.
The program strives to:
- Improve family communication
- Address problem behaviors of children and parents
- Build self esteem
- Reduce stress
- Obtain food and clothing
- Learn positive coping
Caseworkers, who conduct the training sessions in the families' homes, are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By sharing ideas and skills, they assist families in reducing problem situations which can result in family separation.
For more information contact us during our office hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
