HOME CARE SERVICES

Our accredited Home Care Services program provides compassionate and reliable in-home care so that older adults can remain safe and independent as they age. Our day-to-day caregiving provides assistance with a variety of daily living tasks. By helping with meals, mobility, and personal care, Home Care Services strives to support each participant's independence and improve their quality of life.

What we offer

Since 1982, Casa Central's Home Care Services has been providing bilingual and culturally responsive in-home services to Latino and other older adults in the Chicagoland area. Our dedicated Home Care Aides receive comprehensive job training and consistent supervision. Benefits of the program include:

  • Maintaining independence and self-sufficiency
  • Maintaining, improving, and/or restoring emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being

Services are available 7 days a week for up to 40 hours a week, depending on each participant's needs. Short-term and long-term care are available. Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Meal preparation and feeding assistance
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping & laundry
  • Assistance with reading
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Scheduling & escorting to appointments
  • Grocery shopping
  • Help with bathing & personal care / grooming
