WHAT WE OFFER

Since 1981, the Adult Wellness Center’s dependability and high quality of care have earned Casa Central a deep level of trust within the community. The Adult Wellness Center takes great pride in making sure that the program’s staff is the next best thing to family, offering caregivers valuable respite and the peace of mind they deserve. Benefits of the program include:

The Adult Wellness Center provides supervised, structured activities such as:

  • Daily breakfast, lunch and a snack
  • Arts and crafts
  • Aerobics, Arthritis, and balance exercise programs
  • Billiards, dominoes, Bingo and other table games
  • Birthday and Holiday celebrations
  • Cultural exchange
  • Dance club, Theatre club and Music performance/choir
  • Field trips
  • Health workshops
  • Knitting classes
  • Music performance/choir

PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF 

The Adult Wellness Center provides pick up and drop off transportation services within certain boundaries of Chicago (West to Narraganasett Ave., North to Devon Ave., East to State St., and South to 55th Street). Family members also have the option of dropping off and picking up their loved ones if they are not within these boundaries.

The Adult Wellness Center is open from Monday through Friday. Programming for participants occurs from 9 AM through 3 PM, while the Adult Wellness Center office remains open until 4:30 PM.

 

 

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

When you’re ready, we invite you to come to the Adult Wellness Center for a private tour. Our staff will tell you more about the program and answer any questions you may have. Please be advised that visitors will be required to complete a health screening prior to the tour and must wear a face mask while in the Center. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms the day before or the day of your visit, please contact us to reschedule at 773.645.2487.

If you are interested in our program and seeking subsidized care, you must call the Illinois Department on Aging for a referral. Please inform them that you are interested in our program specifically (The Adult Wellness Center Program at Casa Central). The Chicago Department of Family Support Services can be contacted by phone at 312.744.4016.

Subsidized and private pay options are available. For more information regarding the Adult Wellness Center and enrollment, please contact our main office at 773.645.2487.
