Position Title: Home Care Aide (Part Time)
Department/Program: Home Care Services
Reports to: Field Supervisor
Job Summary:
Perform or assist clients in their homes with personal care, essential shopping or errands, routine housekeeping skills/tasks, home maintenance and repairs; teaching/performing of meal planning and preparation; laundry; assisting with self-administered medication; individual must have the ability to lift 25 pounds or more and climb up and down the stairs (i.e. laundry bags, assist clients by lifting them if they fall or need assistance).

Reports to: President
Working with the President, the Director of Development is responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive development program designed to maximize fundraising with an overall goal to diversify funding and lessen dependence on government funds. The Director of Development will work to strengthen individual giving while maintaining strong corporate, foundation and annual giving programs and special events. S/he will also work closely with the Board’s Resource Development Committee. The Director of Development oversees all aspects of Casa Central’s marketing and communications efforts, including the website, newsletters, brochures, media relations and social media.

Job Summary:
The Home Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and documentation of home-based interventions that will help build strong parent-child relationships, promote the healthy development of teen parents and their children, promote self-sufficiency, and help delay subsequent pregnancies. The Home Educator will function as a part of the team.

The Family Development Specialist is responsible for assisting families in carrying out the parenting functions of education, socialization, and nurturing their children. In this role, the Family Development Specialist assesses what each parent needs in order to successfully prepare their children for kindergarten, and ensures that support and information is provided.

Job Summary:
The Food Service Assistant will assist with the full operation of Food Service Operations. This position requires versatility as the Food Service Assistant engages in inventory management, sanitation procedures, food preparation and service. The candidate will assist the Director of Nutritional Services to ensure interruptions to daily operations are minimized.

Position: Child Care Worker

Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Team Supervisor I, provides childcare for children of La Posada while their parents participate in adult education classes and other aspects of the La Posada programming.

Position Title: Program Trainer

Job Summary:
Provides pre-training and on-going training for home care services staff. Utilizes for training course outlines developed by the Department on Aging as well as develops instructional curriculum on special topics as needed. Maintains documentation on all training activities held. Must be able to travel around the city and go to different neighborhoods.
