The 3rd week of April is Childhood Exposure to Violence Prevention Week. Casa Central and Heartland Human Care Services will be celebrating the week with their fifth annual art contest!
The 2016 theme is "My Dreams for a Peaceful Future". Children and youth ages 18 and under are encouraged to send in their art showcasing their vision and dreams for a world without violence.
Contest winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 22, 2016 from 4 - 7 pm. The ceremony will take place at the Bridgeport Arts Center, 1200 West 35th Street. Free parking is available behind the building in the North lot. Please enter though the back of the building, off the parking lot.
