Home Care Services Program

To us, aging in place means aging with grace.

Most older adults prefer to remain in their own homes (aging in place) as they get older. The process of moving can be both physically and emotionally difficult as there is a reluctance to leave a place where cherished memories were made with family and friends.

However, the reality is, it can be less safe for older adults to live independently without some assistance and supervision. Since 1982, Casa Central has provided support in the home to older adults who need it. Our accredited Home Care Services program provides compassionate and reliable in-home care so that older adults can remain safe and independent as they age.

Older adults welcome us into their homes; we welcome them into our hearts.

We understand how sensitive it can be for an older adult to welcome someone new into their home. That’s why it is essential our Home Care Aides establish a level of trust that equals that of a family member or friend.

Our Home Care Aides understand that older adults deserve the utmost care and respect. This mindset is why they bring a smile into the home and care for older adults out of love and compassion.

 

We tend to the well-being of each participant in the comfort of their home.

Our dedicated Home Care Aides receive comprehensive job training and consistent supervision. Benefits of the program include:

• Maintaining independence and self-sufficiency
   
• Maintaining or improving, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being

Services are available 7 days a week for up to 40 hours a week, depending on each participant's needs. Short-term and long-term care are available. Services include, but are not limited to:

• Meal preparation and feeding assistance 
   
• Medication reminders
   
• Light housekeeping and laundry
   
• Grocery shopping
   
• Help with bathing and personal care
   
• Assistance with reading
   
• Companionship and conversation
   
• Scheduling and escorting to appointments
   

The significance of a home in one's life is profound.

A home is more than just a place; it’s a haven that provides comfort and security nurtured by the love of caregivers. For older adults, it takes on even greater significance as the home is where families were raised, celebrations occurred, and memories were made. That’s why 9 out of 10 older adults prefer to age in their homes.

Our Home Care Aides understand that maintaining a home and their independence are the most important sources of pride for many older adults. That’s why they make sure each visit ensures an atmosphere of care, companionship and conversation because their dignity is what matters most.
