Casa Central is pleased to introduce Martin R. Castro as the agency's president and CEO. Marty is President and CEO of Castro Synergies, LLC where he provides strategic consulting services to corporations and non-profits, and will continue in that role as he assumes his role at Casa Central. Previously, Marty was a practicing corporate and commercial litigation attorney for over two decades in Chicago.
Marty served as Chair of the Illinois Human Rights Commission from 2009-2015, and from 2011 to 2016 he served as Chair of the United States Civil Rights Commission by appointment of President Barack Obama. He is a past Executive Committee Member of the Chicago Community Trust, and a current board member at Communities In Schools and the National Museum of Mexican Art.
