Miguel A. Martinez
Vice president of advancement
Miguel joined Casa Central in September 2017 as the Vice President of Advancement. In his new role, Miguel will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategic plan to enhance the organization's current fundraising and marketing roles. In addition, he will oversee all of the day to day operations of the Resource Development department.
Miguel received his Bachelor's degree in Urban Development from Michigan State University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Non-Profit Administration at North Park University. Miguel's career has been exclusively within the non-profit sector, including over twenty years of experience in management, fundraising, strategic planning, marketing and donor relations. Prior to joining Casa Central, Miguel served as the Senior Director of Development at the Chicago Urban League. He also served as the Chief Development Officer at the Delta Chi Educational Foundation and Senior Director of Development and Marketing at the Albany Park Community Center.
Miguel currently resides in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood, where he is an active community volunteer, serving on a few board of directors – his condo association and South Loop Neighbors. He is also an avid runner and has participated in four Chicago marathons. Miguel has one child, who recently graduated from DePaul University.
