A NEW PROGRAM TO SUPPORT PARENTS TO NURTURE THEIR CHILDREN
What is Creciendo Juntos?
Casa Central has joined together with the University of Chicago’s Center for the Economics of Human Development (CEHD), and Preparing for Life (PFL), a social services organization based in Dublin, Ireland, to create a new, innovative Home Visitation Program.
Creciendo Juntos' Home Visitors work alongside parents from pregnancy until the child starts school. We visit families in their homes and give information on child development and parenting — harnessing and bolstering parents’ strengths and resources — with the aim of improving school readiness and allowing families and communities to thrive.
If you or someone you know is pregnant and lives in the following Zip Codes in Chicago (60629, 60632 & 60609), you may be eligible to take part in this pilot program.
